:At the National Investment Bank, Togbega held the positions of Chief Accountant, Chief Internal Auditor and Head of General Services Department.

:At the Bank of Ghana , he worked in the Banking, Audit and Finance Departments.

He attended various courses including Asset and Liability Management in Accra, Contract and Procurement at the Royal Institute of Public Administration (RIPA) London, Senior Banking Management at the Galilee College in Israel and Corporate Management for Africa in Japan.

He also served on the Boards of Accra (Kaneshie) Market, Securities Discount Company, Exim Guaranty Company Limited as a representative of National Investment Bank Ltd.

Togbega is a permanent member of the Volta Region House of Chiefs and a member of the Standing Committee of the House. He is also the Chairman of the Finance Committee of the Volta Region House of Chiefs.
